 About Deep BLUE Pacific
"My nephew built our website."
I can't tell you how many times I've heard this, or "oh. my web guy takes care of that". Or, "It's been broken for months because I can't get the web guy to call back." You wouldn't handle the rest of your business that way, so why leave one of your most powerful marketing and communication tools to amateurs? With an extensive network of design, marketing, and technology professionals, Deep BLUE Pacific can help you to improve your brand, communicate your message, and sell your product. We want to be more than just your "web guys". We strive to be your creative partners; part of your team.
AJAX, CSS, DHTML, What?
How many technical meetings have you been part of where you left more confused than when you arrived? In an industry carried away with acronyms and techno-speak, the Deep BLUE Pacific team strives to cut through the jargon. Our communication skills are on equal par with our technical expertise. We're a team. You talk, we listen. We build what you want. Simple as that.
You call, we're there.
Superb customer service is the cornerstone of the Deep BLUE Pacific philosophy. No phone cues. No support emails. You call and we're there. Afterall, we are part of your team, and good team members don't leave each other hanging.

The Deep BLUE Pacific Team

Jay Barrett
Producer
Molded from the very melting pot of the early .com boom, Jay Barrett, a San Francisco born native, began his desktop publishing career in 1991, producing a small (circulation 5k, monthly) print entertainment magazine. Then in 1996, Jay got hired with an internet firm called Forest Green Media. Well, things really took off, and Jay didn't have time any longer to produce web sites and a print magazine too. So the magazine had to go. In 1999, Jay joined forces with Jeff Nagy and Rick Gann, to create a well funded dot-com startup called Craftshop.com.
After moving to the East Coast with the new company, things took a downturn with all the dot-coms, and the company went chapter 11. After working for a couple other internet companies until 2001, Jay and Jeff Nagy decided tom start DeepBLUEpacific.com.
