“Deep BLUE Pacific created both a DVD business card and new website for my company. Working with DBP was a rewarding experience. The work they did for us has paid great dividends already. I would recommend their services to anyone who wants to greatly increase the exposure of their company.”
-Kurt Smith, Hand Crafted Metals
A New Identity
Aside from an outdated logo, HCM really had no branding or marketing materials. DBP spent some time at the shop and discovered that these metal workers were more than just welders - they were true artisans. With the support of owner Kurt Smith, we decided to take the look and the feel of their company in a new direction. We knew that they had a sophisticted clientele and they needed a sophisticated look to match.
The DVD
HandCrafted Metals mainly deals with high-end clients and high-priced jobs, so we knew that one way to get the attention of new clients was to give them the opportunity to see these guys in action. Deep BLUE Pacific set out to create a DVD that would spotlight the spectacular work that the HandCrafted Metal's team is known for. Our video crew spent a week at the shop recording their amazing handiwork, interviewing Kurt, his crew and his satisfied clients. We then went to work using this imagery and information to create a new, more sophisticated look for HCM, and packaged it all neatly on a business card sized DVD. with custom menues, music, and a selection of photos.
The Website
Since HandCrafted Metals receives a majority of their contracts through word-of-mouth, their website is a very important tool that helps new clients to learn about their services and their crew. Using design elements from the DVD, Deep BLUE Pacific created a new website that not only provided prospective clients with more content, but also followed the new company identity set by the new DVD design. With client testimonials and an extensive image gallery of finished products, users can get a good feel for the quality of service that they will get when they hire this team of seasoned craftsmen.
